The slopes of Iqrit in the Upper Galilee are the ancestral home of the Ashkar family. Displaced during the Nakba in 1948, the family lost their land — but not their connection to it. In 2010, they returned to winemaking, establishing Ashkar Winery as an act of resilience, memory, and love for their homeland. This Shiraz, grown on those same Iqrit slopes, is the fullest expression of that story.

Sumptuous and generous, this is a medium to full-bodied wine that drinks beautifully now and has many years of ageing potential ahead of it.
